OpenBionode is opening to research labs a few at a time, so every lab gets the steps it needs ready on day one. Join the list for a confirmation now, and one more email when your seat opens.

One more email, with everything you need to start. Nothing else, unless you tick a box for it.

Questions

Do I need to know how to code?
No. You build a pipeline by connecting steps on a canvas and change settings in a panel. The code is still there behind each step for anyone who wants to read it.
What kind of data does it handle?
There are starter pipelines for RNA-seq, variant calling, proteomics and single-cell, and a library of steps for building others. If your data is something else, say so when you join.
Where does it run?
On your own computer today, as a desktop app. Running the same pipeline on a cluster or in the cloud is coming, and will not need it rebuilt.
Can our bioinformatician still work on the pipelines?
Yes, and they are who we hope builds the lab’s shared pipelines. They can open any step, see exactly what it runs, and hand a finished pipeline to the rest of the lab.
Who is early access for?
Research labs and biotech teams with sequencing or mass spec data they want to analyse themselves. Students and core facilities are welcome too.
